 		Kathleen said, "I love mysteries and have been collecting them for years—especially mysteries written by women. Since I can't write a mystery myself, I decided to write about them instead. This is my chance to share something I love."
Mysterious Women was started by Kathleen Swanholt who continued it until Spring 2002. Her health declined and Sara Berger is carrying on the tradition.

Sara Berger is retiring from Mysterious Women, so 2009-4 is her last issue.
